Hi, i’m mithu!

Hi, I’m Mithu, a Chiropractor passionate about meaningful, one-on-one care that helps people return to the activities that matter most to them.

I chose chiropractic because it offers meaningful, one-on-one time with patients - something that’s becoming rare in today’s fast-paced healthcare system. I value being able to truly understand someone’s daily activities, work demands, and the hobbies they want to return to, which helps me create individualized treatment plans that support long-term progress.

During my third year at Western University, I shadowed a chiropractor and immediately knew this was the career for me. I watched patients of all ages and activity levels receive care, from desk workers with jaw pain, to university athletes, to children with movement concerns - many experiencing relief and improved function. Seeing how hands-on treatment, movement, and education could positively impact lives sparked my passion to do the same.

Why I Chose chiropractic care

I began my journey at the University of Western Ontario, where I completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. I then went on to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). I’ve also completed training in Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University, which allows me to integrate acupuncture and dry needling into my treatment approach.

My Training

My treatment approach is evidence-based and personalized to each patient. Rather than offering quick fixes, I focus on identifying the true source of pain by assessing how the body moves as a whole — not just where symptoms show up. This helps address underlying limitations and create meaningful, long-term change.

Treatment often includes a blend of manual therapy (soft tissue work, myofascial therapy, joint mobilizations, and adjustments), exercise rehabilitation, education, and when appropriate, medical acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, or IASTM/Graston techniques. My goal is to equip patients with the tools they need to feel better, move better, and stay better over time.

My Approach

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends, and travelling whenever I can, especially if it involves trying new foods, exploring different cultures, or relaxing at the beach. I stay active through tennis in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, yoga, strength training, and the occasional adventure sport while travelling, like surfing or canyoning. I’m always picking up new hobbies, and lately my husband and I have been playing each other in ping pong!
